Instagram is a photo and short video sharing social networking service. When you post a photo or video on Instagram, it will be displayed on your profile. Other users who follow you will see your posts in their own feed. Likewise, you'll see posts from other users whom you choose to follow.

Check with your program/department to see if they have a shared Instagram account. If you want a personal account start at Instagram.com or search for the Instagram phone app and sign up.
