The Indigenous Graduation Ceremony is held twice a year, alongside the convocation ceremony, to celebrate the achievements of Indigenous graduates. With a focus on community, the ceremony serves as a unique space for students to honour family, friends, faculty, staff and administrators who supported their journeys, while recognizing and celebrating the extraordinary efforts of each graduate in achieving their educational goals.
Graduates are honoured with a blanketing ceremony and presented with a gift.
We invite all Indigenous graduates and their loved ones to join us in this celebration, filled with performances by local traditional dancers, guest speakers and refreshments.
