Talk with an education advisor or liaison in your home community, Métis Office or local Friendship Centre to learn about your options. If you live in British Columbia Aboriginal Learning Links also provides post-secondary information and resources.

Funding
Explore funding available through your Nation, Royal Roads internal awards. Select “Indigenous” in the filter for “special audience” to see the specific awards available for Indigenous students.

At Royal Roads we recognize that our students bring a wide range of experiences to their learning. When your application is reviewed, you may be offered standard or flexible admission.
If you’re being considered for flexible admission, you might be required to add some documents to your application. We’ll contact you if you need to provide additional information.
Application fee
There’s a fee to apply to Royal Roads. And if you are admitted, you’ll need to make a tuition deposit before your program starts.

Connect with a community
Consider self-identifying as an Indigenous student when you apply. Doing this will give you access to opportunities to connect with other Indigenous students and members of our Heron People Circle.
This also allows us to keep you up to date with information about financial aid and awards, upcoming activities and your Indigenous graduate recognition ceremony.
