Teaching with Technology grants

Teaching with Technology grants provide funding for Royal Roads faculty members to conduct research on educational technology.

Grant recipients will work with instructional designers from the Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies on their projects. They'll showcase their research at a special event and share their results with the wider university community.

Teaching with Technology grants are offered every two years.

Who can apply

Core faculty, or associate faculty in partnership with core faculty, are eligible for Teaching with Technology grants.

How to apply

The Office of Research will issue a call for proposals to core and associate faculty.

Teaching with Technology research grants are offered and selected by the Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies in partnership with the Office of Research.

Grant recipients explored educational technologies in support of innovative teaching. Research themes included:

  • “open” pedagogy
  • open educational resources
  • innovation in teaching practice(s) that support RRU’s Learning, Teaching and Research Model
