Experience what it was like at RRMC

Step back in time and hear what it was like to be a Royal Roads cadet.

Two documentaries showcase excerpts from oral history interviews with alumni of Royal Roads Military College. The interviews were done as part of an extensive oral history project that took place between 2007 and 2012.

The documentaries also include photos and original film footage of Royal Roads Military College, and showcase the teamwork and leadership that has carried through as a hallmark of the university.

The documentaries were supported by the Military Heritage Fund. This charitable fund helps preserve and document the heritage of Royal Roads' naval and military past.

Coming Full Circle: Remembrances of Royal Roads Ex-Cadets (2009)

This film captures the experiences and emotions of some of the earliest cadets. Learn about both their low points and their high points, such as the stunts and teamwork that made it an unforgettable experience.

Ingrained in Us: Remembering Royal Roads (2013)

This film interviews ex-cadets who attended RRMC from the 1970s until the 1990s. It touches on how the institution and its structures changed over the years, from the first female cadets through the news that the college was closing.
