Royal Roads can support you through two types of live meetings and events:
- web conferencing — best for synchronous, virtual "face-to-face" meetings
- livestreaming — best for large events shared in real-time over the internet
Web conferencing
If you're a web conferencing account holder, you can set up meetings and invite people to participate online with video, audio, screensharing and all the features common to modern web conferencing platforms. Contact us for training on your web conferencing account.

Request web conferencing support
Our team can provide tech support in advance of and during your meeting.

Timelines
To help us meet your web conferencing needs, please respect these timelines:
- Submit your livestream request at least 24 hours before your meeting.
- We'll need five business days after the recording date to complete the video.
- Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to the meeting date.
Livestreaming
Share your live event online in real time through livestreaming. Participants can follow a link to stream the broadcast live or watch it later.
Request livestreaming
For help livestreaming your event, complete the video recording request form.
If your event requires a space to record in, you can book one through EMS Campus.
Timelines
To help us meet your livestream needs, please respect our timelines:
- Submit your livestream request at least five business days prior to the event date.
- We'll need five business days after the recording date to complete the video.
- Cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to the event date.
