Fully Online Learning Community: Readiness Indicators
Dr. Childs used Research and Professional Development funds to support input and disseminate the fully online community readiness survey the Networked Learning conference.
This application is to support input to, and knowledge dissemination of, the fully online community readiness survey. This self-assessment tool is based on the fully online community model (Childs, van Oostveen, Flynn & Clarkson, 2015; Blayone, vanOostveen, Barber, DiGiuseppe & Childs, 2017) and is one component of the Global Educational Learning Observatory (vanOostveen, DiGiuseppe, Barber, Blayone & Childs, 2018). The funding will be used to conduct a workshop on the fully online community readiness self-assessment survey at the Networked Learning conference. Based on the workshop, the FOLC readiness survey will be refined and piloted in the MALAT program.
