On-Campus event

The Healthy Planet Club is excited to welcome RRU Gardener, Emma Lansdowne, to what promises to be an informative January session. Emma will guide us on an educational walk around the forests on campus. During this lunch hour, we will learn about local native plants, invasive species and the impacts those have on ecosystems. We'll also learn about how to support native species in our own gardens and other outdoor spaces.

Join us on January 22 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you can walk on muddy trails with. We will head out rain or shine. The meet up location will be shared with those who register.

The Healthy Planet Club is an initiative co-led by the Climate Action and Sustainability Team and HR's Healthy U team to offer campus stewardship opportunities to staff, students and faculty. We gratefully acknowledge WWF-Canada's Go Wild grant for support of RRU's Healthy Planet Club.
