Tamara Leary was granted Research and Professional Development funds to compile a book on cases studies about leadership and administration for higher education leaders and educators.

Canadian Higher Education Leadership: Case Studies, is an open education book of collected leadership and administration case studies for higher education leaders and educators. The book offers case studies on topics including but not limited to institutional viability, equity, diversity and inclusion, human resources, crisis management, organizational culture, and policy. Each case presents a detailed scenario of a challenge relevant to the higher education sector. Readers will be required to identify and critically consider the issues and contributing factors presented in the case. Individually or as part of a team, readers will apply their experience and knowledge to debate and propose potential solutions or strategies to address the issues. This open resource benefits scholars, faculty and practitioners interested in developing their skills and knowledge as leaders within the higher education sector.
