Business Case Development

Dr. Holmes received Buttedahl and Skene Learning and Teaching Innovation Funds to build capacity in the creation and use of applied business case studies at RRU.

This initiative is intended to help build capacity and promote the production and use of applied business case studies in the delivery of curriculum to RRU students across on-line blended, and face-to-face teaching environments. The specific case produced as part of this initiative will be designed in the context of RRU’s Learning Teaching and Research Model and RRU’s unique teaching environments. By sharing this knowledge with other RRU Faculty through individual mentoring or the delivery of workshops, the use of case studies as an applied teaching tool can gain greater prominence in management programs. This increased use of cases will benefit students by providing them with rich real-world examples of the complex problems currently facing business.
