Summary
Zara brings years of experience in faculty support in course coordination and teaching development from the University of Calgary. With her background in Adult Education, Zara is looking forward to working and developing in the field of online and blended learning. She is an instructional designer with CTET and is interested in course design and development through effective teaching, assessment strategies, and reflective student learning. Zara also enjoys learning about effective teaching practices for a multi-cultural student body.
Experience
Zara started her career in the field of education with the University of Calgary as a Teaching and Learning Coordinator with the Haskayne School of Business. This role introduced her to the world of faculty development and she’s been involved in facilitating training and development workshops. She’s undertaken creation and lead of technology workshops and faculty orientation sessions. She has also worked on accreditation projects involving collaboration with faculty regarding curriculum and learning outcomes mapping.
