The Wanjua Munaita Bursary has been established to assist students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Human Security and Peacebuilding program at Royal Roads University, who are passionate about improving and providing access to justice.

During her studies at Royal Roads, Ms. Munaita embraced her passion for justice, yet it was not until her graduation and professional life that she discovered the true depth of her commitment. "In know now that justice is at the centre of my core,' she writes. With this bursary, she hopes to support other students who share this calling and make justice more widely available for all.

Ms. Munaita was inspired to start this award by those who made sacrifices for her in order to attend education, particularly her late mother and her father who continues to guide her.
