Taylor Institute Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching
Dr. McKendry was awarded Research and Professional Development funds to hold a session workshop to communicate a learning project that promotes transformational learning and exemplifies collaboration.
Taylor Institute Conference Workshop — A Collaborative Clean Sweep: The Live Case as a Multi-layer, Multi-dimensional Learning Experience (90 minute workshop by Barb Collumbin, Virginia McKendry, Jennifer Walinga – equal authorship attribution). In this session, an instructional team in a graduate professional communication program will describe the Live Case Challenge as an example of how they achieved a collaborative ‘clean sweep’ within their institution. We will share how this experiential learning project promotes transformational learning and exemplifies collaboration among learners, student teams, instructors, institutional departments, community partners, programs, and faculties.
