Supporting Empowerment and Performance through Integral Action Learning and Evaluation
Dr. Krause was awarded Internal Grant for Research for a presentation at the Congress on Positive Psychology on the use of model of action learning and evaluation and its application.
A model of action learning and evaluation that supports empowerment and performance coupled with an Integral Theory framework will be further researched and developed and the research will be presented at the 6th World Congress on Positive Psychology 2019, 18th - 21st July 2019, held in Melbourne, Australia. The School of Leadership has worked with and taught the ALE model to students, who have applied such a process in various organizations for greater success and performance in those organizations and for those organizations’ impact. However, the model can benefit from a deeper inquiry into the subjectivity of individuals and the culture of organizations to offer a more grounded and integral framework for empowerment, development and impact. Hence, I seek to bring these two together and explore application and thought in focusing on the areas for development of strength, women’s thriving and impact in workplaces and organizations, and more broadly women’s well-being and thriving and their impact in their communities from a global perspective. I have put in proposals for two presentations and one roundtable discussion.
