Strengthening Health Leadership Education

Dr. Heykoop received Research for Professional Development funds to meet with health leaders across Canada to gain insight into how RRU can respond to health leadership needs and priorities.

The field of health leadership is shifting rapidly, and we have an opportunity to learn with health leaders across the country about what is needed to support health leadership education, research, and practice. This RPD grant offers an opportunity to attend a prominent health leadership event, and to host conversations with health leaders and health leadership organizations across the country, all of which would offer insight into how Royal Roads University and the Master of Arts in Leadership Health Specialization can better respond to health leadership needs and priorities. Outputs will include: videos with health leaders, and a draft manuscript.
