“A friend recommended the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Management (MAELM) program at Royal Roads University, and this appealed to me because it was not delivered through a traditional lecture-based model. I learn best through open and intelligent discussions, group projects, relevant reading, and writing responses individually and in groups, not by merely sitting and listening. 

I benefited tremendously from the blended learning model, and my cohort – a mix of professionals from around the world, sharing their extensive experience – provided a unique perspective about the learning experiences used in different schools. The instructors were very professional, and I often received useful feedback on my assignments that allowed for critical reflection.

Professionally, RRU has opened the door for advancement in my career. Personally it has allowed me to communicate more effectively and evaluate programs within my school more efficiently.
