The Shirley Case Memorial Bursary was initiated by friends and family to create a lasting legacy in honour of Royal Roads University alumna, Shirley Case. During her career, Shirley's admirable efforts changed the lives of many in a positive way, but her tragic passing took her too soon and has affected a wide community of family, friends, colleagues, RRU staff, and alumni. The bursary will be given annually to one student enrolled in the second year of the MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding program who is involved in humanitarian work that contributes to the empowerment of women and/or children.
