"I was drawn to Royal Roads University for its reputation of offering a quality education to working professionals, and the flexibility the programs offered.  The opportunity to complete my Master’s degree through distance learning and an in-person residency was appealing, and the cohort learning model appealed to me.

Each educational experience was a little different, but I can say my Royal Roads experience was extraordinary in every way. This degree pushed me to levels I was not sure I could attain, and ultimately made me realize I had the ability to succeed at this academic level.

Completion of this program opened new opportunities for me professionally, and I have already been able to apply what I learned in the MALAT program. I am more aware of my facilitation style and how I may incorporate technology and learning through program planning, instructional design, and learning theory. The knowledge I gained by completing this program has enabled me to pursue my research and interest in peer learning via distance education."
