I have become much more patient and creative in my leadership approach.

“I had reached a point in my career where I felt I needed to challenge my ideas and thoughts on leadership and leading organizations and in order to create the opportunity to do ‘bigger things,’ I realized my need for a graduate degree. My goal was to leave Royal Roads University with an MA behind my name, and anything else I got out of the program would be a bonus. I completely underestimated the impact the program would have on me personally as well as on my career. My experience was nothing short of transformational.

Within the Master of Arts in Leadership Studies program at Royal Roads University, the balance between online and in-residence learning was great. I loved the flexibility of completing the course work online. The flexibility to fit learning into my schedule was valuable, and the on-campus residency was collaborative and people- and process-centric, which was also of tremendous value to me. As well, I have changed my belief in myself, realizing I am capable of being a good leader and, more importantly, a better person.”
