Research presentation at the ICA annual conference

Dr. Du was awarded Research and Professional Development funds for a conference to present a study of social networking site use in Chinese Internet small- medium sized companies.

A manuscript has accepted to present at the 2019 annual conference of International Communication Association (Organizational Communication Division).The title of the manuscript is “The effects of foreign and indigenous social networking site use in Chinese Internet SMEs”. Built upon survey data collected from small- medium sized companies, we discussed and testified the effect of SNS use on knowledge flow in particular in the cultural context of China. In addition, I will be involved in division program planning and business meetings as an elected division officer.
