Presentations at adult education in Global Times Conference and Southern Oregon Creativity Conference

Dr. Zidulka used Research and Professional Development funds to present the paper “Creativity in Practice: What Happens when Employees Engage in Creative Problem Solving?”

In my dissertation work, I studied how an innovation process, Creative Problem Solving, is enacted within the organizational context. This study contributes to the study of innovation processes by advancing a new methodological approach, which allowed for a more nuanced perspective on the challenges that innovators face in navigating the organizational context. It advances practitioner understanding of the complexity of advancing creativity in organizations and provides concrete suggestions for organizational employees who aim to initiate creative change.
