Tom Morin’s research is focused on understanding the cultural worldview provided by the world of work and its potential as a source of self-esteem within the theoretical framework provided by terror management theory. His preferred methodologies are phenomenology and phronetic social science. His master's research investigated organizational leadership roles as a source of self-esteem. His doctoral research seeks to understand a change in the lived experience of workplace conflict after participants attend a workshop that presents an existential perspective of the world of work.
Experience
Prior to beginning his academic journey, Morin worked in large organizations for more than 30 years. He is a co-founder of Work Innovation Partners and the creator of WorkFeelsGood.com. He speaks and writes about creating a better world of work for ourselves and for future generations and is a trusted adviser to individuals seeking to reclaim their working lives and build thriving organizations.
