David Stevenson has been an instructional designer and associate faculty member at Royal Roads since 2011. He enjoys working with faculty, program staff and members of the CTET team to design, develop and implement online, face-to-face and blended courses that support the RRU Learning, Teaching and Research model.
Stevenson also supports faculty and staff through facilitation of workshops such as ISW and FLO. His interests include the use of technology to enhance online teaching and learning and Lean Higher Education.
Experience
Stevenson has almost 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry that included 15 years in a variety of training roles and over 10 years of experience in the post-secondary environment. His fields of expertise are in instructional design, learning and development, operations and supply chain management and Lean management. He has many years of experience as a teaching assistant, lead problem-solving coach and online instructor for RRU.
