Here's where Royal Roads made headlines this week: 

  • Megan Shipman, fellow on the Polycrisis Team at the Cascade Institute at Royal Roads, was interviewed by the Canadian Press about how the polycrisis is impacting younger generations of Canadians.  
  • David Black, associate professor of Communication and Culture was interviewed by CHEK News and CFAX on BC Conservative Party leadership potentials, by CHEK on the OneBC party leadership change, and by Vancouver Sun on BC government plans for the new year.  

  • Master of Arts in Global Leadership alum Cheryl-Lynn Townsin was featured by Victoria News on her self-founded charity, A Million Acts of Love foundation and it’s first round of micro grant applications for youth pitching social impact projects. 

  • The Globe and Mail published an obituary article on Dr. Stanley Kwok, the legendary architect who brought many significant Vancouver projects to life and was awarded an honorary degree from RRU. (Subscription required.)
