  • President and Vice-Chancellor Philip Steenkamp spoke about new undergrad programs and “First Class” Entrance Awards for the RRU Langford campus in interviews with CFAX 1070, the Times Colonist, CHEK News, Goldstream News Gazette, Island Social Trends, CTV Vancouver Island and CBC All Points West.  
  • Melinda Quintero, a student in the Master of Arts in Tourism Management program, discussed her thesis project of building a map of Greater Victoria using lək̓ʷəŋən place names in an interview with CFAX 1070.  

  • Jeffrey Kucharski, adjunct professor in the School of Business, talked with CKNW on how the national sentiment around Canada’s oil and gas industry may be shifting in times of economic uncertainty.
