President Steenkamp: Happy 25th to Royal Roads!

When I arrive at work, I often look over at the linden tree that was planted on the first day of classes: July 8, 1996. It’s a wonderful symbol of the dedication of our first students, faculty and staff, and it has grown along with our campus.

Today, on July 8, 2021, I look back at this first day of classes exactly 25 years ago and talk with some former and current students about our future.
