Employer Connect brings business and students together

Royal Roads students will have the opportunity to meet area employers at the Career Learning and Development team’s upcoming Employer Connect event on February 27 on the Grant Quarterdeck. 

The drop-in event takes place between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and students will have the chance to network with exhibitors seeking to hire students for a variety of opportunities.  

Employers will be offering part-time opportunities that can harmonize with students' academic pursuits and work-integrated learning — co-op, internship, and field practice—as well as long-term employment opportunities for post-graduation.  

More than 30 exhibitors are slated to attend, representing a wide range of organizations, from public, to private, to non-profit, providing students with a breadth of options for employment.  

To help support students as they get ready to meet with employers, the Career and Learning Development team is offering a networking preparation session on February 12.
