This bursary program helps part-time or full-time students with the up-front costs of a learning disability assessment.
Eligibility
- qualify for student funding through StudentAid BC
- are enrolled in full-time or part-time post-secondary level courses at a designated public post-secondary institution in B.C.
- have been recommended to have a learning disability assessment by an Access Advisor at RRU.
How to apply
- Complete the student portion of the BC Learning Disability Assessment Bursary Application
- Sign section 2 and 3, and submit it to RRU's Accessibility Services.
- Accessibility Services will evaluate eligibility and provide pre-approval for the bursary.
- Accessibility Services will complete the school section and either pay the assessment provider directly or issue a reimbursement for the fees paid (up to $3,500).
