Leadership through Sport and Collaborative Learning using the Live Case Model

Dr. Walinga used an Internal Grant for Research to attend a conference to host a session on the role of organizational culture in sport and to hire a research assistant.

This grant will be used to:
1.Support travel to chair a session at the Sport and Organizational Dynamics conference at U of Calgary Taylor Institute Conference on Higher Education on the role of organizational culture in sport, the link between leadership development and performance in sport and community, and the role of values based sport in building community as well as in building the reputation and impact of sport.
2.Hire a research assistant to support the development of a SSHRC Insight grant application for the SPRI (Sport Participation Research Initiative).
