Insight Artistry

Dr. Jull received Research for Professional Development funds for a handbook that applies arts-based methods that stimulates creativity and collaboration in response to conflict.

How can practices of artistry and collaboration help to address the polarizing dynamics of conflict? This project will explore this question through developing an “Insight Artistry Handbook” to help individuals respond to interpersonal, workplace and community conflict by applying arts-based methods that stimulate creativity and collaboration. Working across three sites, this project will share knowledge across different disciplines, engaging in a “creative conversation” among conflict theory, arts-based practice and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. In doing so, this project will stimulate knowledge development, advance a collaborative partnership, and create a transdisciplinary educational resource.
