Improving Work Integrated Learning Through Implementing Internship Performance Indicators.

Dr. Wilson-Mah was awarded Internal Grant for Research for data analysis of a multi-phased study on students learning under Royal Roads University’s learning and teaching model.

Phase 1 of this study was completed in 2015 with Eugene Thomlinson and the study was profiled in Engaging students in life-changing learning: Royal Roads University’s learning and teaching model in practice. (pp. 65-81). An ethical review was approved in 2017 for Phase 2 of this study and data was collected in 2017 and 2018. It is anticipated that this data will provide a rich foundation to advance this research. Data and analysis from Phase 2 of this study will be shared at the University of Calgary Conference in Higher Education. The funding requested for this project will be applied to present at this conference.
