Impact analysis of a work to live program for at-risk youth
Dr. Axe was granted Research and Professional Development funds for a research project exploring the improvement of programs aimed at youth aging out of care and youth at risk of homelessness.
This research documented and assessed the impact of a transition program for youth aging out of care and other youth at risk of homelessness in the lower mainland and Sea to Sky corridor. Taking a case study approach, data was collected using focus groups and interviews and it is expected the outcome of the study will enable continuous program improvement for the organization under study, providing them with an approach for continued monitoring of their impact.
