ILA 2019: Leadership – Courage Required!

Dr. Etmanski was granted Research and Professional Development funds for a leadership conference to showcase Royal Roads University’s Learning Teaching and Research Model.

The 21st Annual Global Conference of the International Leadership Association (ILA) was held in Ottawa, Ontario from October 24 to 27, 2017. Catherine Etmanski’s addressed the conference theme of Leadership: Courage Required through a half-day pre-conference workshop, two panel presentations, and three experiential workshops. Several of these she co-facilitated together with colleagues from RRU and across the United States. Overall, Dr. Etmanski’s scholarship showcased innovative elements of our new Learning Teaching and Research Model (LTRM) and demonstrated how this RRU is a thriving hub of leadership excellence and the option of choice for working adult learners.
