Exploring Trauma-Informed Pedagogy and Practice
Dr. Agger-Gupta and others received a Buttedahl and Skene Learning and Teaching Innovation Fund award to explore how a trauma-informed lens can be integrated into pedagogy and practices.
Within the School of Leadership Studies, we are interested and committed to exploring what it means to integrate a trauma-informed lens to our teaching pedagogy and practices. This grant would support us to engage with: RRU faculty and staff, associate faculty and staff, and subject matter experts to begin to explore what a trauma-informed lens is, how it can be integrated into our teaching pedagogy and practices, the challenges and opportunities it affords, and identify any readings, resources, and practices that could be integrated into our teaching pedagogy and practices. Workshop for faculty in fall / winter 2022/2023 as well as a possible journal article.
