Study Abroad
The Republic of Austria's Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research offer the Ernst Mach Grant to students enrolled in a program within the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences for studying at an Austrian university of applied sciences to promote research cooperation, support young academics in the early stages of their scientific career, and establish an effective network of researchers with relations to Austria.
Eligibility
Student submissions will be accepted from:
- A master's level program student or
- An undergraduate level program student that has successfully completed at least 4 semesters of studies by the time of taking up the grant.
Maximum age: 35 years
Applicants must not have studied/pursued research/pursued academic work in Austria in the last six months before taking up the grant.
A scholarship can only be consumed once within this program.
Language skills: Very good knowledge of English and/or German.
How to apply
The submission deadline for the Ernst Mach Grant is February 1. Students need to be first accepted by one of our Austrian partners to apply for this scholarship. The application deadline to apply for partner institutions is January 10, 2025. There is only one call per year for the following academic year.
