Empowerment using SDG Framework through Action Learning and Evaluation

Dr. Krause was awarded a Research and Professional Development grant for a presentation on a model of action learning and evaluation that builds a framework for sustainable development.

A model of action learning and evaluation that supports the implementation of effective Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiatives will be presented at two conferences that will illustrate the research that the School of Leadership has worked with and taught its students, who have applied such a process in various organizations for. The action learning and evaluation framework represents a collaborative process of stakeholder engagement through iterative stages of framing, inquiry, focusing, strategic planning, action implementation, and evaluation. This framework serves as a guidebook for successful SDG development and implementation and the presentations at ILA and AEA illustrate the different applications in especially fragile states, international contexts and the area of gender.
