The Doctoral Support Initiative is designed to support research related to Indigenous peoples and issues, which features prominently as a cross-cutting theme at Royal Roads.
Once a year, applications will be accepted for one tuition-credit award of up to $3,000 renewable for each year of the 4-year program. Applications will be competitively reviewed. The award will be credited toward the recipient’s next scheduled tuition installment, and annually thereafter.
A complete application consists of a three page double spaced proposal briefly describing the area of planned research and the candidate’s life experience that prepares him/her to conduct this research. Please add "application for Doctoral Support Initiative - Research on Indigenous Issues" to the top margin with your name on each page. This essay is an exception to the one-page competition rule and may be added to an In-Course essay as pages 2 to 4.
