Doctoral research: Evidence-based management in business schools

Ross Porter received Research and Professional Development funding for doctoral thesis research on business school academic administrators.

The requested funds will go towards directly supporting my doctoral thesis research for 2022/23 – namely in the form of subsidizing my annual program fees and attendance at a research conference and doctoral thesis workshop. I am pursuing my DBA through the University of Bath UK and am exploring the factors that influence the extent to which business school academic administrators search and utilize management scholarship to actively inform their organizational decision-making and management practice.
