Creative Change-Making: Decolonizing Engagement Practices for Educators, Researchers, Activists, and Leaders
Catherine Etmanski was awarded funding through a SSHRC grant to help artists and scholars contribute to new book on decolonizing engagement practices.
During my Research & Scholarly Activity Leave (RSAL; October 1 to March 31), I will work on a new book: “Creative Leadership: Engagement Practices for Scholars and Practitioners” (per my approved RSAL application; title may change).
In this small-scale innovation and experimentation research project (Explore), I will be inviting a purposive sample of artists and scholars to contribute to this book.
The purpose of this grant is to (a) hire a student RA to support these contributions, thereby contributing to the student’s professional development (Explore), and (b) offer honoraria to invited participants who do not have full-time positions at RRU.
