Explores the use of transects, plots and classification systems for environmental monitoring and its application to the interpretation of stream and forest system biodiversity and health. Introduces design and ethics of field experiments. Provides an opportunity to build on skills developed in Laboratory and Field School one as well as the science courses of year 2.
