Conference presentation on the role of SNSs in Internet SMEs
Dr. Du was awarded Research and Professional Development funds for a presentation on the role social networking sites have on Internet small and medium businesses in China.
What role does the use of social networking sites (SNSs) play in foreign knowledge acquisition of Internet small and medium enterprises (SMEs)? A manuscript has been submitted to present at the AIB US Northeast Conference. The paper is titled as “Foreign knowledge acquisition and the international orientation of Internet SMEs in China.” A model that hypothesized effects of foreign and indigenous SNSs on internationalization of firms has been discussed and testified. Besides, I am also invited to be the conference tack chair organizing the track titled as Culture, Cultural theory and Cross-cultural Management.
