The Climate and Sustainability Impact Award provides an annual tuition-credit award for Royal Roads University graduate-level students conducting applied research on climate action and/or sustainability issues and solutions.
Eligibility
- A first-year graduate student who is, or will be, active in their program on the application deadline date;
- Research interest(s) aligned with climate action and/or sustainability issues and solutions (i.e. leadership, sustainability, business, Indigenous perspectives, adaptation and resilience, regenerative agriculture, etc);
- Priority will be given to projects that advance reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion;
- Reasonable financial need will be taken into consideration; and
- Priority will be given to applicants who self-identify as members of marginalized groups as defined by the Dimensions Charter, specifically: women, Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), persons with disabilities, members of visible minority/racialized groups and members of LGBTQ+ communities.
How to apply
- this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
- pending the availability of funding, the competition will normally run annually from March 1st to May 1st (closes 11:59pm PST)
- applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
- address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin
