A Case Study on Responsible Tourism and Visiting Research Fellow University of Brighton
Rebecca Wilson-Mah was awarded funding through an Internal Grant for Research to study cases of changing external conditions and their impacts on tourism and hospitality enterprises.
A new volume of tourism and hospitality cases share a particular focus on small and medium sized enterprises in different countries, for example Austria, Canada, Vietnam, and England. This volume reflects the various impacts of changing external conditions that affect SMEs in the tourism and hospitality management sector. External conditions include the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change and environmental degradation. All the cases capture a variety of actions businesses took to survive and thrive, re-focus their client relationships, adapt their business models, or to shift their operating systems and resources.
*This is an introduction to the volume of cases that this study supports.
