Capacity Development Evaluation: Towards an Integral Approach

Dr. Krause used Research and Professional Development funds to examine the implementation of effective sustainable development initiatives within the context of integral theory model.

A novel model of action learning and evaluation, developed by Dr. Wendy Rowe, and grounded in integral theory, by Wanda Krause, is the methodology presented at the Integral European Conference (IEC) at Siofok, Hungary for May, 22-27, 2018. The objective is to support the implementation of effective sustainable development goals (SDG) initiatives to address capacity development issues. Krause illustrates its application of this model through case examples of women’s development initiatives in the Middle East, including work around trafficked women and children, the development of orphanages and hospitals and various women’s learning facilities to support women’s empowerment and thriving and sustainable communities.
