Attending various parts of Congress 2019

Dr. Manion was awarded an Internal Grant for Research to attend and present findings on three papers on the global refugee crisis, student citizenship and child rights in Uganda.

I am seeking support to disseminate findings from three projects during three separate papers during Congress 2019, in Vancouver. The papers include Monitoring the Long Arc of the Moral Universe- The Wellbeing of Children Impacted by the Global Refugee Crisis (Canadian Peace Research Association Conference), Team-Based Learning: A tool to enhance student citizenship, changemaking capacity, collaboration and respect for diversity (Citizenship Education Research Network), and Child Thrive: Building child rights understanding one child at a time: Ugandan and Canadian Primary School Student’s Ideas with Shelley Jones (Comparative and International Education Society of Canada).
