Minimum Credential Requirements

The chart below identifies the most common credentials we receive. If you have completed a credential not listed, but that typically meets the entry requirements for further post-secondary education in the country of origin, we will review the documents for comparability during the credential evaluation process.

Remember to review the program-specific admission requirements to ensure that you have met all other admission and application requirements.

Minimum Credentials Required

Year 3 Admission

  • 2 or 3 year bachelor’s degree 

Graduate Admission

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree; master’s degree (followed by a 2 or 3 year bachelor’s degree) 

*Literal (word-for-word), certified translations are required for documents that are not officially issued in English by the responsible authority of your institution.

All final or provisional Degree Certificates, e.g., Bachelor, Master, Master of Philosophy, PhD

 

To be considered official:

 

You may have photocopies of your original Degree Certificates either by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), or by the Registrar’s Office or Controller of Examinations at the issuing academic institution. Please request for all attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the sealed envelope and sent directly to RRU, or returned to you to forward to RRU. To be considered official, this envelope must remain sealed and submitted to RRU. If the envelope has been opened, the documents are no longer official and cannot be accepted.

Individual Mark Sheet/Result Card issued by the university.

 

If elective courses are not listed on the Mark Sheet, please provide a syllabus or some other type of official documentation for the courses.

 

To be considered official:

Please request for all attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the sealed envelope and sent directly to RRU, or returned to you to forward to RRU. Please Note: Academic documents attested by persons outside the Registrar’s Office or Controller of Examinations, such as individual professors or external notary publics, are not considered official and will not be accepted.
