Minimum Credential Requirements
The chart below identifies the most common credentials we receive. If you have completed a credential not listed, but that typically meets the entry requirements for further post-secondary education in the country of origin, we will review the documents for comparability during the credential evaluation process.
Remember to review the program-specific admission requirements to ensure that you have met all other admission and application requirements.
Minimum credentials required
YEAR 3 ADMISSION
- 2-3 year diploma/non-degree (专科)
GRADUATE ADMISSION
- 4-year bachelor’s degree (学士学位)
*Literal (word-for-word), certified translations are required for documents that are not officially issued in English by the responsible authority of your institution.

If you are not submitting a recognized evaluation report from an external credential evaluation agency, the following documents will be required in order to complete your application for admission:

To be considered official: Contact China Qualification Verification (http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn) to request the specified reports to be sent directly to RRU in a sealed envelope. If unable to obtain documents through one of the agencies listed above: RRU may accept the following on a case-by-case basis:

To be considered official: Please request copies of each document from the awarding academic institution. These documents must be stamped and sealed in an official envelope by the appropriate authority within the issuing institution, and submitted to RRU in the original unopened envelope. The sealed documents may be sent directly to RRU by the issuing institution or by the applicant. If the envelope has been opened the documents are no longer official and will not be accepted. Please note: Notarized documents are not considered official and will not be accepted in place of official transcripts. Do not send your original issued academic documents unless requested by RRU. |
