Harish Kumar Tiwari is a Board of Governors member elected by students, with a term from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024.
Tiwari is pursuing a Master of Global Management after serving Global Affairs Canada. He has a diverse background in the public and private sectors, specializing in financial, property and operations management.
Tiwari has been on boards and previously held the role of Co-Chair of the Locally Engaged Staff Management Consultation Board at the High Commission of Canada to India. He was also a Member of the Regional Contract Review Board for South Asia and the Middle East region at Global Affairs Canada. Tiwari has volunteered at various community organizations, including Vishwa Kalyan Parishad and Rotary International. He holds graduate degrees in law and commerce, as well as a professional certification in finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
