ABC’s of X, Y now Z: Rethinking and Reenergizing Engagement with our 21st Century Learners

Dr. Rekar Munro received Research and Professional Development funds to facilitate a session on characteristics of Generation Z learners and how we can build skills to engage with new learners.

Rekar Munro has been invited to present at the Canada International Conference on Education to be held at the University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus in Toronto, Ontario June 25 - 28, 2018.

In this interactive session, we explore the distinguishing attributes of Generation Z learners and how we can harness our own leadership capabilities to build relationships and sustain engagement with our newest generation of learners. Framing our discussion is the facilitator’s research on the perceptions and experiences of Generation Z. Time will be allocated in the session to dialogue about the application of this research to your own practice. It is anticipated you will leave the session with new approaches for engaging with Generation Z learners and the inspiration to continue stretching your engagement-building skills in new directions.
