A lasting legacy
From 1940 to 1995, Royal Roads served as a training institution for military officers. Originally opened to train naval reserve officers for service in the Second World War, it was soon expanded to provide military and academic education for all three military services. Training at Royal Roads gave cadets a solid foundation to advance both their character and careers.
Royal Roads University welcomes all military college former cadets, staff, faculty and their families back to this historic place. We are excited to share our efforts to preserve the past through our museum, and to renew old connections at events like Homecoming.
